we don’t get many invitations to congregational social gatherings.
we don’t attend midweek meetings and miss about 1/3 of sunday meetings.
we go in service at least once a month.
I've been living this situation for 14 years as a ministerial servant for being too... SERIOUS ! And then when I became a PIMO, I wasn't invited for being too... WEAK !
Now, after 3 years out of this crap, but not disfellowshipped nor disassociated, when I meet JWs on the street they wonder if they sould say "hello" of nor... Very nice organisation indeed !
for many years the government of mexico did not allow religious organizations to own property.
any property used by a religious organization was confiscated by the government.

they come uninvited to your door step and try to discuss bible/wt doctrines with you, and many times or on occasion you do so.. you may even exchange first names with each other , and that is fine if you are happy with that but do you know where they live ?.
but they have an advantage over you .they know your name and where you live .!.
you may know there first name but you don`t know where they live .that is the advantage they have over you.. does it really matter ?
I'm living on the territory of another congregation. Since i've disappeared from meetings, the other congregation has forgotten about me and about my house !

a childhood friend and her husband stayed with us for a few days and, except for when we went sightseeing, they spent most of their time on their digital devices viewing and listening to content from jw.borg.
a few years back i recall a stearn warning against the use of such devices at an assembly.
several years ago, the most important thing was to "keep busy in the fied service" ! GB wanted to avoid "weak" proclaimers
Nowadays, priority is to keep people in the organisation.
why the shunning if someone leaves?
why are they working so hard to keep everyone in?
is it money?
it's all about control : controlling people, controlling relationship between members, controlling the money... controlling the whole life of their members ! Who called this a CULT ?????

it's just my opinion and the feeling of my PIMO friends. The pression to make money is more important from month to month and the income of average window-cleaning witness goes down from year to year...
